Woman who threatened girl, 5, with scissors jailed

A woman has been sentenced to jail time after she threatened a 5-year-old girl with scissors in a disturbing incident that took place last month.

The incident occurred at a local park where the woman approached the young girl and brandished a pair of scissors, threatening to harm her if she did not leave the park immediately. The girl’s parents, who were nearby, intervened and were able to safely remove her from the situation.

Police were called to the scene and the woman was arrested. She has since been charged with assault and making criminal threats. After a trial, she was found guilty and sentenced to serve time in jail.
